For the 2022-2023 school year The Public Schools of Northborough and Southborough will implement ParentSquare, a new school-to-home communications platform that will allow for consistency across our schools. ParentSquare is a simple and engaging platform. Its intuitive layout will improve communications and deepen engagement with our families.
Through ParentSquare you will be able to:
- Receive all communications from the district and schools in one centralized place
- Track school and district news, activities and events
- Choose your preferred mode of communication (text, email, app)
- Choose to receive messages immediately or all at once at 6PM
- Choose your preferred language (with improved translation features)
- Use a family-friendly app with all of this information
- and much more…
It is highly recommended that you activate your account or register. You will still receive school and District communications regardless of whether or not you activate your ParentSquare account, but to access the advanced features of ParentSquare, parents must register. When users register their account, they will see post communication in one organized feed. Registering your account also allows you to download/login via the app, and receive app notifications.

Do I have to create a ParentSquare account?
We highly recommend that every parent/guardian register as you will have access to all the features whereas a non-registered user will have limited access.

How do I update my language preference?
On a browser, click on your name to update your language preferences.
On the app you can customize your language settings by going to "My Account" and clicking "Change This" under language settings. From there, you can choose any language you prefer from the dropdown menu and you will start to receive content in that language. Here is a help article on how to change your language settings.

I am missing a student on my account. How can I add another student?
To add a student or school, you should contact Loraine Wolfrey Central Office directly to update your contact information. You should confirm that the same email and phone number is on file for all children at all schools. The day after the change is made at the school, you should be able to see the updated information in ParentSquare.

I am getting too many messages from ParentSquare. Is it possible to receive fewer notifications?
Yes, you can customize your notification settings by going to your homepage and clicking on your name in the top right corner and selecting "My Account" from the drop down menu. On your account page, you can find your notification settings in the top right corner and click "Change This" to customize your notifications. If you are receiving too many notifications, try changing to the “Digest” setting where you will only receive one condensed message in the evening. How do I change my password?
You can click on "Forgot Password?" on the sign-in screen and a link to reset your password will be sent to your enrolled email address.
